Being your own webmaster is an excellent choice when starting
out online. The startup cost are extremely low and you can
be in profit with just a few clients.
I’m going to explain the process as simple as I can. First,
you need web hosting and a domain. Then a script that will
provide your services to your future clients. Look for a trend.
See what is popular now. Just my opinion, Instagram is the
fastest growing social media. So any service within Instagram
would be a great idea. Followers, Image likes, reel views
and so on.
For your website title, think of something simple. For instance,
my social media marketing agency. After you get your website,
the way you want it, it is time to target your market. What
do you have experience in? Example: I was a framer for 35 years.
So I target people in construction. Go to any search engine,
I use Bing. And type in ‘construction’ in your area and click
search. You should come up with at least 10 pages with about
20 or so listings. This alone could set you up for success.
Roughly 200 potential leads staring at you. It is best to target
your local area. Why? People will actually communicate with
others if they see or know that you are a neighbor!
